Who am I?
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been both curious and fascinated about what makes me tick, why I behave the way I do and how I can lead a fulfilled life.
I worked in a variety of HR leadership roles for seventeen years and, whilst I relished the challenges it brought, there were many occasions where I didn’t feel comfortable, or authentic enough, stretched myself too far, attended meetings that didn’t fulfil my ultimate passions and interests and, most importantly, said ‘yes’ when I really meant ‘no’. It was only when my two children came along that I began to recognise the tension in my life – I was living a life centred around being what everyone else wanted me to be, rather than listening to or acting upon what I wanted to be.
In 2010, I realised that my ultimate strength and passion was in enabling others to be authentic and being their sounding board, their coach. I made the decision to become an accredited coach, the crucial first step being to work on myself. After four insightful and rewarding years, I set up my own coaching and facilitation business in 2014.
These days, my life is filled with opportunities to live out my passions. I set boundaries of what I expect of both myself and others, and learn from the setbacks that naturally happen along the way.
My core belief is: if you live your life authentically, it will be more fulfilled and rewarding than you could ever imagine.
